INFORMATION

General description

It is mainly green, paler and yellowish below and with an olive hue on the chest.

It has the external feathers of the wings of a blue tone, with yellow coverings.

The tail is pointed, with a blue tip.

The head is distinctive, with a blue-green crown, orange forehead, and amber eyes, with yellow and white irises.

Young birds are similar to adults, but with much less orange on the forehead.

Habitat
It is found in arid zones, semi-humid forests and areas semi-open, as well as in mountains and places near the coast of the Pacific Ocean

Seeds, flowers and fruits.
