Welcome to the Apami Wildlife Rescue Center's #LeaveYourMark Volunteer Program!
This unique opportunity allows you to play a direct role in conserving our country’s wildlife and safeguarding the environment.
Maintaining a rescue center is no easy task. Without governmental funding, we rely heavily on visitors and donations, with volunteers playing a crucial role in supporting a variety of essential tasks.
Through volunteering, you’ll help us educate our visitors about wildlife in captivity, promote practices to prevent wildlife trafficking and habitat destruction, and foster a deeper understanding of conservation challenges.
Our program is ideal for local residents or visitors who can contribute for at least one day or a few hours.
Age Requirement: 18 years and older
Minimum Hours Required: 3 hours per visit.
Tasks: Preparing food, cleaning kitchens and enclosures, assisting with compost work, monitoring animal behavior, supporting enrichment, and administrative tasks.
Scheduling: Volunteers can choose their schedule within our operational hours. We encourage a commitment of at least 3 hours per day, and recurring volunteers are especially valued for their ongoing support.
