Reservation and Confirmation:

To secure your spot on our tours, it is necessary to confirm availability through our calendar (for online reservations). If you reserve via email, phone call, or WhatsApp, availability will be confirmed by APAMI Wildlife Rescue Center.
After availability is confirmed, full payment for online reservations must be made at the time of booking through our payment platform via PayPal. If the reservation is made by phone (call or WhatsApp) or email, payment must be made in person at our facilities, either in cash or with Visa or Mastercard.

Cancellation Policy:

Online reservations canceled before 12 hours prior to the scheduled tour will receive a 50% refund of the package value through the same PayPal platform. In the case of reservations made via email, WhatsApp, or phone call, refunds do not apply since payment is made in person only.
For online reservations, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the 12-hour deadline. However, it is possible to reschedule the tour date or time, subject to the availability of APAMI Wildlife Rescue Center. In the case of reservations made via email, WhatsApp, or phone call, this policy does not apply since payment is made in person only.
If the tour cannot proceed due to external factors (mainly weather), a 100% refund will be issued via PayPal, as advance payments are only made for online reservations through our platform. In the case of reservations made via phone, WhatsApp, or email, this policy does not apply since no payment has been made yet. However, if the customer is present and the tour is canceled for any reason, the payment will be refunded. If the payment was made in cash, the amount will be refunded in full. If payment was made by card, the transaction will be canceled immediately, and the client will receive a copy to present to their bank for a refund.
Online reservations can only be canceled via email at reservations@apamiwildlife.org.

Punctuality:

Tours with scheduled times may be combined with other groups. Therefore, if participants arrive 10 to 30 minutes late, we cannot guarantee the full completion of the tour, as they must join the group where the tour is currently taking place along the trails.

Accompanying Guides:

Agency guides may participate in the tour at no additional cost.

Alcoholic Beverages:

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises.

Animal Interaction Policies:

For safety reasons and in compliance with Costa Rican law, it is strictly prohibited to feed, touch, or cross the enclosures’ barriers to get closer to the animals.
